Last reel of a 3-reel sponsored film directed by Willard Van Dyke for the NYU alumni association. Dates from the 1950s or early 1960s. This 35mm reel comes from the Prelinger Collection at the Library of Congress. Prelinger Archives records that it came from the International Film Bureau.

No traces at NYU Archives, except one mention in an NYU Film Library distribution catalog of the early 1960s. No mention in Willard Van Dyke filmographies.

Files at NARA document that NEW YORK UNIVERSITY (the film) was distributed by the U.S. Information Agency, translated into multiple languages. Catalog records for 3 such titles at NARA indicate a film copy should be there. Dates given as 1953? and 1965? + one note that says USIA retired the item in 1958. Not clear if more than one movie of this title exists.
